I have heard of people experiencing seasonal depression in the winter months. My guess is that this is due to the snow and cold preventing people from going places and doing the things they would normally do when it’s warmer. But I have the opposite problem.

I tend to get seasonal depression in the warm, summer months. In Southern California, the hottest weeks usually happen in August and September, toward the end of summer. Due to the humidity, it is hard to go places where there isn’t air conditioning to cool me down. Once the sweat kicks in all I want to do is sit in a nice cold bath all day long. Along with everything else I often feel self-conscious as I’m forced to show more skin in order to keep cool.

Do you also suffer from summer depression?
