Staying Healthy and Hydrated Thanks to My Cupholder
Just last week, the bottle holder on my wheelchair fell off. I get dehydrated very quickly and always need a drink when I go out.
I bought it many years ago at a bike shop and attached it using plastic zip ties so, it wasn’t very secure in the first place. My dad made a trip to Home Depot to find a way to reattach it with a bolt and washer. Thankfully everything was solved. Living without it for a little while made me realize just how much I rely on it. Having to reach for my drink in my backpack or keep it in my lap was a pain and I didn’t want to ask for help. It’s amazing how having a cup holder to make my drink easily accessible can help to keep me healthy by staying hydrated.
