  Staying Home From School During Cold/Flu Season

  Each year cold and flu season hospitalize many people, especially those with fragile immune systems. Sending your children to school where some parents either do not vaccinate their child or they send them to school when they are sick, puts your child at risk of exposure to germs.

  How do you take extra precautions? Or do you keep your child at home through those months? Have you thought about homeschooling your child during those months? Do you worry about it from an academic standpoint?
