Storing Medical Equipment
I have gone through so many medical devices it is hard even to remember what my first mobility device looked like. I am so thankful that my house has an attic where I can store my old walkers, wheelchairs, canes, and whatever else I use related to my disability. I worry that if I ever need to move into a smaller place, I won’t have the space to store everything that I need to remain independent.
Where do you put your medical equipment when you aren’t using it? How do you know when it is time to get rid of something or keep it when you may need it? Medical equipment is expensive, and sometimes in an emergency, you might need it. How do you store old equipment to keep it useful?
