What is your favorite kind of pen to write with?

As someone who’s left handed, I struggle to find pens that don’t smudge. At this point in my life, I’ve given up trying to find smudge-proof pens and focus on the ease of writing of a good pen or pencil. As an artist, I’ve used a fair share of pens in my day including fountain pens but I always find myself going back to ball point pens specifically the Bic Multicolored Ballpoint Pens. They are surprisingly lightweight, don’t drop too much ink and allow me to color code my to-do lists.

One tip I have for pencils that I learned from an Occupational Therapist is to buy smaller pencils or break them in half so that they’re not as heavy. Mechanical pencils work great as well.
