Violators in Handicap Accessible Parking Spaces
What do you do when you see someone parked in a handicap space without tags? Have you ever been forced to park farther away because someone parked in the space who shouldn’t have? What do you do when people who park on the space with lines next to the accessible space, usually preventing someone from using their accessible ramp?
I parked in a handicap space and by the time I got around to the other side of the car someone had parked in the white lines next to the van accessible parking. To make matters worse the person had a sign in their car window saying “only parking here a few minutes and dropping off stuff in ‘xxx’ store, do not tow”. I was infuriated, this stranger someone thought she was more valuable than me, enough to make a sign but not enough to park in a real space. I left them a nasty note but that only made me temporarily feel better.
