  What do you think about the term: patient?

  What do you feel about being called a patient? Are you offended, do you not care? Do you think everyone, with or without a disability, is a patient when they are in a medical situation?

  I asked someone to be a part of 30 days of MD next month. I thought they had an exciting story to share with other people with MD. He looked at our website and was offended by the amount of time people were referred to as “patient.”
