Wheelchair Access on Commercial Airlines
https://petitions.moveon.org/sign/wheelchair-access-on
This petition is for the Federal Aviation Association to require airlines to provide designated wheelchair accessible spaces on every commercial aircraft. This would allow passengers to remain safely seated in their personal wheelchairs.
Did you know in 1945 President Theodore Roosevelt flew seated in his wheelchair? Air Force One had a retractable elevator to lift Roosevelt in his wheelchair into the plane.
It is 2019, wheelchair users pay the same amount for air travel, but then hundreds even thousands of dollars more because of the damage caused by the airlines to their mobility devices. Recently it has been shown that 25 mobility devices are damaged by airlines EVERY DAY. Please consider signing this petition so it reaches 75,000 signatures.
