Worry for Strangers on Social Media
Do you ever worry when you read comments from other people with muscular dystrophy and fear for their safety? How do you approach these situations? Have you read people contemplating suicide or wanting to hurt themselves?
I am part of many Facebook groups and have read several comments about people wanting to hurt themselves or end their life. Members are usually very supportive and try and reach out to the person. For groups like that, there are traditionally administrators who have a protocol to deal with issues of suicide or self-harm. Have you ever had to deal with a stranger who wanted to hurt themselves?
