You and your offspring living with MD
Do you and your child or children have Muscular Dystrophy? Was the gene passed down from you, your husband or both? How old were you when you first began to notice symptoms? How old was your child or children when they started showing symptoms?
My mom was a carrier for Mitochondrial Myopathy Muscular Dystrophy all her life until a couple years ago. I used to fear that she would one day get my disease but now that we both have MD we can lean on each other for support on a deeper level. We both use mobility devices and have most of the same symptoms.
