I am a ‘manifesting carrier’ with MTM (myotubular myopathy). I thought I had chronic fatigue for years and was only diagnosed with MD in 2016. One of my brothers died as a baby due to MTM which was what gave us the clue to get me checked out.

Previously a high school languages teacher, I now enjoy working from home writing language learning textbooks/resources.
