I have FSH didn’t know it until in my mid twenties when my younger brother was diagnosed with FSH. I went through all my school years not knowing or how to explain what was ” wrong with me”. I worked from high school in !976 until 1987 as a structural steel welder and fitter. Then went to work for Bossier City Police Department. retired in February of 2015 when I retired. I have been blessed with a family that has been so accepting of my illness and support me. I have been on what i call the the fast track part of this roller coaster ride as my progression has been very rapid since around 2010. In 2013 a retirement of our local MDA doctor was a unknown blessing. With know facility close to me I was able to get into U Texas Southwestern in Dallas Tx. The staff and doctors have been so unbelievable it just so cool to see doctors and staff that really understand your illness.  I have been trying to be more involved and presently starting a FSH Chapter in my area. like always gimme a holla
