Alex Kobersteen

Alex Kobersteen is a longtime Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) volunteer and fundraiser who grew up participating in the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaigns alongside his fire fighter father and nurse mother. Inspired by their commitment to service, Alex has supported MDA since childhood and now volunteers at MDA Summer Camp, where he helps create meaningful experiences for children and young adults living with neuromuscular diseases. Alex is a professional baseball player for the Glowmojis with Cosmic Baseball in stadiums across the country, and a sworn police officer for the City of Durham, North Carolina.
