MDA Summer Camp (with volunteer opportunities)

At MDA Summer Camp, every camper finds a place to belong in a community rooted in inclusion, friendship, and fun. Here, kids and young adults with neuromuscular disease grow in confidence as they take on new adventures, make lifelong friends, learn to self-advocate, and discover just how much they can do.
Each summer, campers ages 8-17, attend these life-changing, overnight camps around the U.S. – at no cost to their families, thanks to our generous supporters.Camp Can Change Your Life if You Let It
MDA Summer Camp wouldn’t be possible without people like you. Each summer, hundreds of volunteers serve as counselors and medical team members during weeklong, overnight Summer Camp programs to help make it a safe, fun, and memorable experience for all participants.
As a volunteer, you will support campers as they participate in adaptive camp activities, games, dances, mealtimes and more. You’ll also take on the rewarding role of caregiver, friend and confidence builder, making an impact that lasts long after camp ends.
Dates: June 7 through August 21 (23 weeklong sessions at various locations and virtual option)
