Being seated at a booth at restaurants
Have you ever waited a long time for a table at a restaurant only to find out that they seated you at a booth and you use a wheelchair? Did the waiter seem surprised that a booth wouldn’t work for you? Where they apologetic? Did you write a negative review online or did you just let it pass?

Leah, as always, our forums are very timely. While not exactly like this incident you mention, my next column will focus on issues of seating at public genus like stadiums and restaurants etc. Title may change but now as, “inaccessible Accessibility; Time to Get Serious.” Your incident is an example, and now imagine that they only have booths. Or only booths and high tables. Etc. I always talk about the need for variety. All these venues must have multiple styles of seating.
