Have you ever had to distance yourself from a friend because they did not understand your disability, thus making it difficult for you to experience joy in the friendship? Did you try to teach them, explain to them, or ignore their behavior towards you and your MD? How have you since dealt with friends that do not make an effort in accepting or understanding your physical disability?
