Incorporating Disability into my halloween costumes
I will be working the ticket booth at a comedy club this Halloween weekend, so most of my coworkers are dressing up. Since we work at a comedy club, there is a lot of humor and jokes. For my costumes, I will be Lt. Dan Taylor in the 1994 film “Forrest Gump,”
I chose this because it encourages my wheelchair, and Forest Gump is one of my favorite movies!

I absolutely love your costume idea and it’s so fun when women dress up as male characters. Forest Gump is such a classic movie! I wish there were more disabled characters in the media as well-known as Lt. Dan.
