Today is Juneteenth (an American Holiday). With everything going on and #BlackLivesMatter being at the forefront of our news, let’s make sure to learn about this holiday and lift up Black voices today (and everyday).

I sure wish they included these important American dates in history textbooks. I see no reason to leave these integral historical moments out of standard education. I would’ve enjoyed history class so much more if we had learned about things like Juneteenth.
