Have you participated in the yearly Muscular Dystrophy Association’s muscle walk? Did you have a team or just as an individual? What was your team name, and how much did you try to raise?

The MDA muscle walks vary slightly for each location, and most events are 3K to 5K. All routes are accessible for participants in wheelchairs or scooters, as well as families with strollers or wagons. Registration for the event is free. Everyone is encouraged to fundraise, and each walker who raises $100 will get a participant T-shirt on walk day. You may also qualify for other great prizes as you continue to fundraise! It is fun for everyone! I have participated in numerous walks and love bringing awareness to our diseases!

I’ve done these the last few years and usually it’s me and my wife walking for the “New Normal.” We do part of the walk and make a donation. I haven’t taken it bigger yet because I am focused on raising money for LGMD2L Foundation specifically. 😉
