The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is the largest organization in the U.S. dedicated to helping children and adults with muscular dystrophy (MD), as well as their caregivers and families. In addition to the resources it offers on a full-time basis, the MDA also has some limited-time opportunities that you don’t want to miss.

Limited-time resources
The MDA has some resources that patients and caregivers may want to take advantage of while they can, including a webinar about finding the right mobility equipment.

Fellowships and scholarships
At any given time the MDA has fellowships and scholarships on offer that can range from writing scholarships to video-making contests with prize funds to go towards the cost of tuition.

Job opportunities
Along with job opportunities currently available at the MDA, the organization also works with the APPD to help people living with MD find their perfect career. They also work with the National Leadership Program to award fellowships to those with or without disabilities who want to make a difference in the lives of those who live with disabilities through media, advocacy and public policy.
